One of the best parts of this job is having the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing people who live and breathe our sport. We are excited to feature Sam Appleton on the cover this month. Like plenty of Aussies before him, Sam calls Boulder, Colorado home for most of the year. Despite living and racing most of his season on the other side of the world, it has certainly not gone unnoticed the ripping form Sam is in. We first featured Sam on a cover in 2015, and since then he's gone from being the ‘one to watch’, as he moved to the 70.3 distance, to now a genuine Ironman 70.3 World Championship contender. The amazingness continues throughout the pages as Jodie Cunnama catches up with Danish star, Camilla Pedersen. Pedersen was left in a coma after a bike accident and has certainly bounced back with style, grace and determination. We also check in with Michelle Cooper, she is the first woman to be Vice President of Triathlon Australia, an accomplished athlete herself and a coach. Her story will resonate with many as she never gave up, found this great sport later in life and is certainly not wasting time in marking her mark. We meet the recent Ironman champion Nick Baldwin and for those headed to Kona this year; Jordan Blanco gives us the low down on some must-do things on the Big Island. Our tech pages are packed this month – we road test the new Oakley Flight Jacket glasses, the wireless Jaybird earphones and take the Eyeline Mantra goggles for a swim. We've put the spotlight on three new and exciting products from Wahoo, and help you choose your next running leggings with this month's Save Spend Splurge.
Our experts are all back this month too, with their latest tips and tricks that are sure to help you be the best athlete you can be. It’s another jam-packed edition, bursting at the seams – don’t miss out!
