L’air du Temps is the second album by drummer – composer Vincent Touchard. With this new recording, he proposes to translate the era into music, taking a poetic and offbeat look at a very often troubled current situation.

For the occasion, he explores the queen formula of jazz, the piano – double bass – drums trio, ideal for embodying the deeply melodic essence of his music. He surrounded himself with Jean-Charles Acquaviva on piano and Gabriel Midon on double bass, two sensitive musicians whose aesthetics fit perfectly with his musical universe. Faithful to his inspirations: the colors of classical music, the energy of pop and the rhythms of the world intertwine and are all opportunities for the three friends to express their talent as performers. The result is very fluid, the obviousness and clarity of the themes, the coherence and musicality of the improvisations, everything aligns to offer a lyrical, sober and elegant album which will remain in the spirit of the times for a long time.
