Discover the musical selection of René Martin, artistic director of La Folle Journée, around the theme of the new edition - origins. This two-CD set brings together seven centuries of musical adventures emblematic of La Folle Journée 2024.

Since 1995, La Folie Journe de Nantes has provided a wider audience with access to classical music through short concerts and reasonable prices. From January 31 to February 4, 2024, the event celebrates its 30th anniversary on the theme of “Origins”, highlighting the musical traditions that have nourished the inspiration of composers over the centuries. Among the approximately 300 concerts presented in Nantes, it is possible to hear a number of works representative of the “national schools” that appeared in the 19th century, or drawing on the infinite richness of popular traditions. Discover here the selection of René Martin, artistic director of the Folle Journee, with more than two hours of music bringing together seven centuries of musical adventures, emblematic of this Folle Journee 2024.
