This hiatus, driven by a quest for creativity and a newfound focus on family life (marked by the arrival of his fourth child), set the stage for an awe-inspiring return to his compositional roots.

Marking his solo debut as a composer, arranger, and cellist, Luka will release his album ‘LIFE’ on Platoon on March 22, 2024. This album is a symphony of emotion, a rich tapestry woven with luscious harmonies, soaring strings, and a cello line of transcendent beauty that encapsulates the essence of life itself.

Luka’s musical journey, rooted in original composition and masterful instrumental arrangements, has culminated in a collection of compositions conceptualized over years, evolving into his musical interpretation of life. Rejecting the confines of classical tradition, Luka emphasizes the importance of creative freedom, drawing inspiration from diverse sources, from Beethoven to Max Martin. He believes in the necessity of an open mind to prevent artistic stagnation.

His debut solo album, ‘Vivaldi Four Seasons,’ released by Sony Classical in 2019, soared to #1 on the Classical Albums Chart in the USA. Luka’s accolades include winning top prizes at prestigious international competitions, such as the VII Lutosławski International Cello Competition in Warsaw.
