PLAYTIME is the soundtrack of an impressive journey - a real road trip - organized by Charles Gil in spring 2020 in Scandinavia. The program is a call to joy in playing, rhythm and improvisation.

The quartet is joined by great guests: Marc Ducret on guitars (electric and acoustic) and Sébastien Palis on Hammond B3 organ. Together they explore the wild horizons of jazz standards, reviving the humor of Jacques Tati and prioritizing the personal music that forms the soundtrack of their unforgettable journey.

Through the Baltic roads and landscapes, they invite us to experience the reliefs, colors and emotions of this extraordinary journey. Journal Intime is a brass trio that practices ensemble music and improvisation with a rare unity and travels freely through a music that knows no pigeonholes with original compositions and adventurous arrangements. You can hear the unique experience of a trio with a seemingly inexhaustible palette of sounds.
