For The album Bad For You Baby Northern Irish blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Gary Moore returned to the studio to record a mixture of his own compositions and some well-chosen covers. Originally released in 2008, it features a similar hard rock influenced sound in comparison to his previous releases over the past several years before, with two songs best known for their Muddy Waters' done versions being covered by Moore. The release also notably includes collaborative work with musicians Cassie Taylor and Otis Taylor. Bad For You Baby is the last studio album recorded by Moore, who sadly passed away on 6 February 2011.

The album received positive critical reviews from publications such as Allmusic. Moore released many brilliant blues albums during his career and Bad For You Baby is up there with the best of them.
