On the show we'll hear a wonderful trio of Czech pianist Emile Viklicky with fellow Czech/Australian based for many years trumpeter Miroslav Bukovsky with saxophonist John Mackey recorded at the 2018 Wangaratta Jazz Festival. Also live is some high energy music revisiting the Miles Davis album On The Corner from a band led by Dave Liebman plus the musical influence of Haiti is the starting point for saxophonist Godwin Lewis for his debut album. Other new releases feature from pianist Ehud Asherie, guitarist Yotam Silberstein, The Tearraza Big Band from Queens in New York and Brisbane pianist Sophie Min with guitarist James Sherlock.
