Singer, songwriter, pianist and string arranger Daisy Chapman is a well-travelled musician who draws her influences from both anti-folk and classical music. It is difficult to describe Daisy Chapman's own style. A fictional meeting of Neil Hannon with Regina Spektor might be the first attempt at a description. Live, each song holds a dark story of love, lust and loss, told in a multi-faceted way through Daisy Chapman's voice and Sue Lord on violin.

Daisy Chapman narrates in her usual expert manner, with a rich and full sound. Her music is as warm as, detailed, punchy and cinematic. String section, percussion and double bass support the piano and the voice of Daisy Chapman in telling elaborate stories.
