Soul Jazz’s Afro-Futurist Electro Funk in Space exploits continue with first full reissue of Alien Starr’s angular machine funk jams from 1985.

Highly sought after by lino lovers and unsurprisingly spenny on 2nd hand market, ‘World of Ecstasy’ is served here in its entirety, spanning the vocoder funk of ‘Music-A-Lizer’ that opened up the aforementioned compilation, plus its rocket boosted long version, sandwiching the titular, squelchy electro-soul slow jam and extending to the Prince-alike quick trot of ‘Computer’ - exactly the sort of stuff we could imagine to be rinsed by Electrifying Mojo in Detroit or ‘80s kids in shell suits at the Merrion Centre.

Superb slice of super-rare electro funk grooviness originally released as a one-off small-run private-press 12" single out of Ohio, USA in 1985. Complete with vocoders, slap bass, drum machine, hand-claps and 'space vocals' this electro boogie funk rarity is the jam!

This is a one-off pressing very-limited exact reproduction single, remastered and restored by Soul Jazz Records, and is taken from Soul Jazz Records' recent Space Funk 2 - Afro-Futurist Electro Funk In Space 1976-84.
