Nükhet Ruacan was born on December 14, 1951 in Istanbul. He enrolled in the graphics department of the State Applied Fine Arts School. However, she left her education in the middle and started to become a pop singer. in 1974, he went to Switzerland and started singing jazz. He has worked with the orchestras of Emin Fındıkoğlu and Tommy Dodd in Switzerland and Norway.[1] He returned to Turkey in 1977 and worked in various nightclubs as a jazz vocalist and participated in festivals.

in 1979, he went to the United States. After receiving singing education at the New York Conservatory of Music, she returned to Turkey in 1982. The artist, who recorded an album titled Ruacan,[2] gave concerts in China and the USA on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. He appeared on the screens of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, and in these programs he was accompanied by his own jazz bands as well as the TRT orchestra. She participated in the Eurovision Song Contest Turkey 1984 with the song titled In the Light of Dreams.
