Description
This course will provide you with tips, strategies, and techniques for improving your vocabulary skills and getting a higher score on the TOEFL. In addition to videos, there are reference lists, written material, and quizzes included to help you practive and hone your skills. There are sentence-writing assignments designed to help you remember the words using real-life examples.
We will learn different word parts, including prefixes and suffixes. We will also know common words which I have seen on the TOEFL since I began teaching 16 years ago. Finally, I am going to teach you my technique (Mr. Tim's Technique) for understanding Vocabulary in Context and choosing the correct answer choice. I will conclude by giving you tips and advice on how you could further improve your vocabulary not only on the TOEFL but also in life.
