Description

The course is designed to teach new guitarists how to advance from strumming to finger picking with the thumb and finger.The guitar tablature system is explained. This represents the finger movements in written form for easier learning. It is the basic necessity for advancing to more complex finger picking patterns.Basic guitar finger picking movements are taught using the chord progression C, F and G.Excercises are included for other chord progressions, and the student will be able to play a basic finger picking pattern at the end of the course.The course uses on-screen guitar tab overlays and PDF downloads for practice when away from the computer.The average student will be able to complete the course in and hour - further practice will provide the basis for more advanced finger picking study using the guitar tablature system demonstrated.
