Rift in the Cradle

History has taught us countless times that Humans are divisive creatures, eager to eliminate anyone who does not align with their ideals.

Rift in the Cradle centers around Lynk, who, for the most part of her life, has been a pawn of war. A former child soldier who escaped persecution in the mutant lands, she now lives in secret in the elite human territory, desirous of uncovering the truth about the past. Her suspicion of known history only grows when she delves into the terrible lies and misinformation spread by warring nations of human subspecies. Her world comes to a halt when she is visited by two old friends, who reveal shocking facts about her origins beyond anything she could’ve fathomed. While on a mission for a neutral underground movement, she accidentally uncovers the truth and must act decisively to avoid a looming disaster. She decides to leave the safety of human refuge with her band of renegades to embark on an unpredictable journey into a dystopian world to stop warring warlords before it is too late.
