The second edition of the book has come out well in time to update the legal changes causing new challenges targeting practicing doctors. Legal issues in medical practice are gripping medical doctors by surprise. Even medical specialties like dermatology, pathology and radiology are not safe in legal arena. Four decades ago legal issues never created any problem in medical practice. A greater awareness is being created amongst people because of doctor's services being within the ambit of Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
