Discovered by Sharpless-Fokin and Meldal a decade ago, the copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition that forms 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazole, also referred to as Click-Triazole, has found a truly widespread application in diverse areas of chemistry.
