History is anything but boring in this decadent double feature from sexploitation producer Harry Novak. Romeo (Forman Shane) and Juliet (Dicora Carse) love each other, but they also love everyone else in town in The Secret Sex Lives of Romeo and Juliet. And in The Notorious Cleopatra, Marc Antony (Johnny Rocco) is forbidden to touch gorgeous houseguest Cleopatra (Sonora) but finds the Egyptian queen too sexy to resist.
For a soft-core porn movie, this film has quite a few funny moments, and works (kind of) as a parody of Shakespeare's play. A lot of the references are to late sixties pop culture and there are some genuinely erotic scenes.
