Iolo Williams explores the natural world in some of Western Europe's wildest locations.
Part 1: Yr Asores, Madeira a Portiwgal
Iolo begins his journey in the Azores in the middle of the Atlantic, where he swims underwater with sharks, whales and manta rays, before heading to Portugal to see an unusual bird.
Part 2: Sbaen a Ffrainc
Iolo arrives in Spain, where he searches for a lynx, one of the world's rarest big cats. He also watches thousands of birds migrating over Gibraltar, encounters hundreds of vultures, and crosses the Pyrenees to France.
Part 3: Llydaw, Ynysoedd y Sianel
Iolo heads to Brittany, the Channel Islands, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, discovering an unusual blonde hedgehog, a colourful lizard and lost American birds.
Part 4: Iwerddon
Iolo travels to Ireland, where he explores the country's wildlife and landscape. He visits the Skellig Islands and Killarney in Co Kerry, the Burren near Doolin in Co Clare, Ballycroy in Co Mayo and Boffin Island, off the west coast of Connemara.
Part 5: Ynys Manaw, Arfordir Gorllewin
Iolo travels to Scotland, where he sees a dam built by beavers. He also visits the Hebrides and Orkneys, where he witnesses otters, common seals and birds of prey in the wild, and dives in Scapa Flow to view a submerged shipwreck from the Second World War.
Part 6: Ynysoedd Ffaroe, Gwlad Yr Ia
Iolo visits the Faroe Islands and Iceland on the final leg of his journey, where he discovers a cave formed by a lava flow, goes scuba diving near a volcanic vent, and sees some of the world's largest whales.
