Retired from the Air Force, Chappy Sinclair (Lou Gossett Jr.) now runs a private flight school that happens to cater to misfits and juvenile offenders. Desperate to instill discipline, Chappy hires as an instructor his former protégé, Doug Masters (Jason Cadieux), who had previously been shot down by the Soviets.
