GEOSPATIAL Enhancements:
Geospatial enhancements in MicroStation 2024.2 include significant improvements to geospatial functionalities. Users can now import and export Esri File Geodatabases more efficiently, with options for reprojection upon import, multi-file operations, and ProjectWise integration. Additionally, feature classes can be defined by various criteria for exporting, and Shapefiles (SHP) can be exported by feature classes using the new 'By Level' option.
3D Enhancements:
Maintain the feature tree after deleting a feature from the parametric element in the Properties dialog, thereby saving time and minimizing errors. Efficiently remove or recalculate 3D Angle Constraints from Update 17 or earlier versions using the Revise Legacy Angle Constraint dialog.
BIM Enhancements:
BIM enhancements include updates to features such as accessing and managing results in the Explorer dialog under the Reports tab, retaining the last valid value of an Item type property on file close with a new configuration variable, and updating the Item Type Library in the active file during cell placement to align it with the defined DGNLib.
