Arny Margret, Iceland’s remarkable and poetic upcoming singer-songwriter, is due to release her second album ‘I Miss You, I Do’ on March 7th via One Little Independent Records. The follow-up to 2022’s celebrated, minimalist folk debut ‘they only talk about the weather’ sees her working with new producers in America to develop and hone a sound that’s more textured, expansive, and mature.

Following his recordings dedicated to Beethoven's piano concertos (BIS-2281) and Franz Liszt's Transcendental etudes (BIS-2681), the gold medal winner at the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009, Haochen Zhang, now brings these two composers together on this new recording with two summits of 19th-century piano literature: Beethoven's 'Hammerklavier' Sonata and Liszt's Sonata in B minor.

VC Artist the Attacca Quartet has announced that they have signed with Platoon, and will begin their relationship with the label by making a recording of the Ravel String Quartet for release in March of 2025. They will also appear in the label's new concert series, Platoon Presents at Kings Place.

Barefoot Adventure is a soundtrack album of music from Bruce Brown's 1961 surf film of the same name. All the music was composed by saxophonist Bud Shank, performed by him with a small jazz combo, and released on the Pacific Jazz label.

Spacing Out is an instrumental masterpiece only ever issued in Bermuda at the turn of 1970. A mix of the band's out-there original compositions and extravagant covers of The Meters, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and The Isley Brothers, it established this band as one of the greatest instrumental bands of any genre, and helped kickstart the retro-soul/funk scenes that birthed the likes of Daptone and Big Crown Records. It's certainly a lodestar for Now-Again Records. This reissue was done with the license and participation of the entire Invaders band, with their story told in great detail in an oversized booklet penned by Jefferson "Chairman" Mao, complete with rare photos of this rarely seen ensemble.

For over three decades, the Stone Alliance's debut album on Gene Perla's PM Records has been a record collector's commodity. An LP that evolved from the Rare Groove 1990s into a hallowed place in America's deep jazz canon. This definitive reissue of the 1976 release was lacquered in an all-analog transfer by Bernie Grundman, who removed the Dolby noise reduction and freed the space in the record's grooves. Grundman himself said that this is the best that this record has ever sounded.
