Canadian jazz singer Holly Cole is best known for her ability to explore adventurous repertoire that expands from show tunes, country music, and rock. On this long-awaited album, she engages with some of the best jazz composers such as Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, and Richard Rodgers on this album where she showcases her musical versatility.

1956 album of eleven genial, high-spirited tracks featuring Mann and Most trading bright, up-tempo, virtually saxophonic flute solos. They work over an energetic backdrop provided by guitarist Joe Puma, bassist Jimmy Gannon, and drummer Lee Kleinman. Most of the tracks are brisk and cheerful, although a few tastefully spare ballads ("Love Letters") are also included.

Altoist John Handy's second Columbia album was actually his fourth as a leader. Utilizing the same musicians who had joined him during his sensational set at the 1965 Monterey Jazz Festival (violinist Michael White, guitarist Jerry Hahn, bassist Don Thompson and drummer Terry Clarke), Handy performs five of his complex yet accessible originals, which include the "Theme X" (in 5/4 time), the catchy "Blues for a Highstrung Guitar", and the adventurous "Scheme #1". This would be the unit's only studio album, and after disbanding, they did not reunite until 1994. The memorable music is highly recommended.

Truth is the debut studio album by English guitarist Jeff Beck, released in 1968 in the United Kingdom on Columbia Records and in the United States on Epic Records. British folk duo Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker began their musical partnership in 2010. Expanding both their sound and approach, 2018's "Seedlings All" introduced light jazzy elements into the tonal mix and was the first of the duo's releases to be made up entirely of Clarke's original material. This is songwriter Clarke's most autobiographical work to date.

"Warrior" is the second studio album by American singer Kesha. Aftermath, released in April 1966 by Decca, is the first masterpiece by The Rolling Stones. Composers of the tracks present on their albums since Out Of Our Heads (1965), the duo Jagger & Richards can still rely on the intact genius of Brian Jones for arrangements and to create unique atmospheres with each track. Lady Jane is one of the most romantic songs in the band's repertoire. Here again the medieval atmosphere is particularly well rendered.

The Stockholm City Hall is known around the world for housing the Nobel prize banquet. It is also home to the largest organ in Scandinavia. On this spectacular instrument, with its 10,400 pipes, Mattias Wager plays French music from the Thirties. The music, by Alain, Jolivet, Bonnal and Duruflé shows the scope and sheer creativity of its time, and its feeling of boundless musical possibilities. With its wealth of sound, the Stockholm City Hall organ is one of the few instruments that make it possible to really bring out all the colors in this repertoire. Additionally this is the first real recording of this organ, even though it was built in 1926, 3 years after the Stockholm City Hall was opened to the public.
