Suicide Bombers - All For The Candy (2024) [Official Digital Download]

When one realizes that applying to the band fast is a bit edgy, and realizes that there are sugar bombs that are so full of sweets, enough to rock you off the stick, that applies, it goes better. For the band has a burdensome name, why they choose to stay on it we will find out in an upcoming interview with the gang. Here and now it will be about a Canon album, an album where most of it flaps.

The quality assurance is screwed to the Max. If you like hard rock, glam rock and rock'n roll with an extra driving force that elevates the band up to where even those who are not so fond of said Styles can find their feet, then you should spin this album a few rounds. Here there is variety, fat riffs, good vocals, incredibly fat solos, fat drive on the rhythm, everything is right. This is a band that cuts a bit with what one associates with the Norwegian, which is often dark and black, hard and technical, they appear as a contrast. The fat thing is that Suicide Bombers never get too cute or too kind. There is a spark that constantly lifts them up where I can also hang out, because I'm basically not such a big fan of rock'n roll.

I think a bit in the path of Shout At the Devil on something, just with smoking good solos, and I think a lot of Kiss when they deliver their classic riffs and songs (I at least got a little feel for Kiss in the opening riff on Out of Love, if you think of the Unmasked album). But Moetley is probably the band I get the most references to, it's a mix of Zodiac Mindwarp and Backstreet Girls. The problem for some may be that this is a tribute to those days, done well, so it is not innovation that is the focus. It tastes a bit like Kardang's recipe, a band that delivers giant, but uses well-trodden paths to find their brew.
