"A Thousand True Stories" is Silje Nergaard's twelfth album and her first on Sony Music. The Norwegian singer with the girlish voice recorded her new CD complete with the famous Metropole Orchestra conducted by Vince Mendoza. It is her most romantic album to date with nine beautiful songs written by Silje Nergaard herself. In Norway, it has already entered the pop charts there at number 1 and has now reached gold status. The arrangements were made by Mendoza, who had also arranged Robbie Williams' swing album and won several Grammys for his collaborations with Björk, Herbie Hancock and for his own albums. In the summer, the singer has already presented the new songs to an enthusiastic audience at the Rheingau Music Festival and the Palatia Jazz Festival. In December she will be back on tour in Germany and will present the album in ten concerts.
