The "adventurous indie violinist" Sarah Plum has spent her career championing new music, commissioning composers and bringing their work to a wider audience. In this concert Plum performs new music for violin with electronics, composed especially for her. The program celebrates her forthcoming album, Personal Noise on Blue Griffin Records, with music by Osnat Netzer, Kyong Mee Choi, Mari Kimura, Charles Nichols, Mari Takano and Jeff Herriott, and the world premiere of a multimedia piece by Laurie Schwartz.
