Cecchetto has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians, including Palle Danielsson, Richard Galliano, Paolo Fresu, and Lionel Loueke. His discography includes albums like "Downtown," "Memories," "Mantra," and "Humanity," showcasing his versatility and innovation in the jazz scene. He has received critical acclaim, including the Top Jazz award from Musica Jazz in 2007 and 2010.

As a respected educator, Cecchetto teaches jazz guitar at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan and at Siena Jazz courses. His recent work, such as "Humanity" with Lionel Loueke, continues to highlight his contribution to contemporary jazz.
