Rieger Rhodes Quartet - Long Lost Brothers (2021) [Official Digital Download]

Rieger Rhodes Quartet (RRQ) 's debut album Long-lost Brothers is released in UNIT Records by Patina Swiss jazz publisher, UNIT Records. The Hungarian release in June precedes the international release, which is scheduled for the beginning of September. The full contents of the eight CD-ROM are also available on the larger music portals.

The recordings were made in January 2021 in the legendary Rottenbiller Street recording of the former Hungaroton studio. On the album, Attila Rieger prize plays the guitar, Péter Rozsnyó plays the piano, Zoltán Oláh plays the bass, László Csízi plays the drums, something the young talent, Albert Horváth plays Fender Rhodes.

Fender Rhodes is an analog electric piano of the ' 70s, playing with musical instruments similar to the guitar in its soft, dribbling sound. Our home stages often lack acoustic pianos or pianos, which is why Attila Rieger wanted to find a solution to restore the sound of these instruments at the same time, but it is not necessary to rely on the piano sound of today's digital instruments – this function is perfectly fulfilled by Fender Rhodes, which is often used as a full – value instrument in modern jazz. On the record, the instrument is played on a ’50s Böhm tube amplifier.
