The Mercurial was a Hard Rock band from Long Island, New York that formed in 2004. In 2008, they recorded their self titled debut album with Michael Birnbaum and Chris Bittner (Coheed and Cambria, The Sleeping). They have performed with bands like Cobra Starship, The Sleeping, Men Women & Children, Action Action, Cky, and All Time Low. In 2006, they appeared on Bamboozle with Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, AFI, Panic at the Disco, Paramore, and others. They also appeared on Warped Tour 2007 with Coheed and Cambria, Killswitch Engage, Circa Survive, Underoath, Chiodos, Hawthorne Heights, and more. In 2009, they departed with their bassist, Lauren Sauer, who joined the band when her previous project, Phase 9 broke up and formed End the Stars. They have not released information regarding the split, nor who will be replacing her.
