Few men have done as much to spread the music of the Spanish guitar as the late Celedonio Romero, virtuoso, composer and poet. His musical legacy lives on in the legendary guitar quartet he formed with his sons Celin, Pepe and Angel, and continues today with grandsons Celino and Lito.
Through captivating interviews, archival footage, and with evocative performances – from Bach to de Falla and Rodrigo – the one hour documentary chronicles the Romero family’s Spanish roots, their flight from Franco’s Spain to California in 1957, the birth of the quartet in 1960, and an evolving Romero dynasty of the classical guitar.
