    C’est cet adage qu’ont fait leur la jeune pousse talentueuse du jazz toute fraîchement sortie du collège de Marciac ou de la classe jazz du CNSM. Ces jeunes garçons que j’aime à côtoyer l’été, dans mon petit village où ils font danser jusqu’à plus d’heures villageois et villageoises au son de John Kirby et de Benny Carter, ces jeunes-là disais-je sont amoureux de la tradition autant que de la modernité et sont capables avec un enthousiasme débordant et un talent immense, de marier le vieux jazz de la Nouvelle-Orléans au vertiges du free jazz. Le tout emballé avec un sens du plaisir de jouer, de faire danser, de s’éclater en jazz.
