My name is Harriet Steinke and I am a composer and writer from Detroit, Michigan. Welcome to my website!

I have degrees in music and english and my music is very influenced by my love of language. I also write poems, articles, and my favorite creative projects are ones when I’m dealing with music and words. My composer-work is supplemented by several years of professional experience in the non-profit sector, and I have worked with several organizations in artistic planning, education, development, operations, and grant writing.
