Krambambuli is the debut album of the Hannes Dunker Trio. The rather calm, pensive album leads the listener through multifaceted soundscapes, in which the Berlin-based composer and drummer deliberately gives his fellow musicians Eike Wulfmeier (p) and Clara Däubler (b) space for their own evolvement and musical input. The whole stylistic spectrum of inspirations that Dunker has absorbed in many dierent projects over the past years can be heard: rock à la Radiohead or even elements of Israeli and Latin American music are mixed into the melancholic, Scandinavian-Nordic sound of the album.
