While the concept of time is intrinsically bound to all music, only artists with a certain kind of vision can expand our perception of it through the sounds they create. One such artist is Francesca Guccione. A violinist who has performed in many cities around the world and a composer with a master’s degree in composition and film scoring, she melds classical and electronic elements into highly evocative pieces of music that are both introspective and potently cinematic in equal measure.

Since her stunning debut solo album Muqataea (Whales Records, 2021), Guccione has done quite a bit of work that is collaborative in nature from various singles, reworks projects, and film soundtracks to her dazzling explorations of violin and synthesizers for Moog Music. Among all this activity Francesca has found time to develop her second full-length album and the concept of time is very much at the heart of it.
