EzioBossois one of the most interesting Italian composers of our time. His compositions for piano solo, piano and orchestra, orchestra and chamber ensembles are moving and exciting.
After the latest two albums where Bossoconducted the orchestra (“The Venice Concert” and the album with his StradivariFestivalChamber Orchestra) “Roots” is the first piano album after the successful The 12th Room which was released two years ago.
Cellist Relja Lukic, one of the best cello players today in Italy, performs in all tracks (except for the Bagatelle).
The brand new Sonata For Piano and Cello No.1 “Roots” composed by Bossois here recorded for the first time.
