"Chaplin's Secret" is a call for solidarity with minorities that are increasingly being pushed to the margins of society. As on her previous albums, Dotschy sings a song in Romani, the language of the Sinti and Roma, and wants to encourage people to stand by their own culture and language. After all, Dotschy’s international band, which includes musicians from Sweden, Siberia, Ukraine, Australia, Italy and Israel, proves how colourful, diverse and beautiful the world can be when supposedly foreign cultures find their place in our society.
