The reunionais flutist and composer Christophe Zoogones has always been inspired by the gospel that he sang in his childhood, the jazz-rock of the Headhunters or of Weather Report whose records he used, the universe of jazz as a whole that he studied at the CIM, then at the Conservatoire de Paris( CRR), and finally maloya (reunionais music that claims creolity). In 2015, his debut album, "Kind of Zoo" recorded at the reunion, succeeded in a relevant fusion between maloya and jazz-rock. Five years later, Christophe Zoogones presents his new project: "Zoology" , where the orchestration is identical to the previous album: a quartet with flute, piano, electric bass and drums, but where the musicians are different and offer music that evolves towards New horizons.
