This double-LP is a very good introduction to the cream of Irish-Folk, but, as in any compilation some groups are missing and others are of lower rank. This compilation is from the Transatlantic label, Folk specialist. With this selection I met with the best of Irish-Folk music, as Dubliners, The Johnstons, Sweeney's Men, Finbar & Eddie Furey, etc.
The Metronome label made a mistake: Because the LP 1 should be the LP 2 and vice versa; the original 1st compiled appeared in 1968 (Here's To The Irish) and 2nd in 1969 (Here's To The Irish - Vol 2), according their songs.Fran Solo, 2015
