Amiram (full name Amiram Eini) is one of the most prominent singer-songwriters on the Israeli indie/folk rock music scene. After years of leading the band Amiram Inc. He has re-embarked on a solo career, and is now releasing his first solo album Undefined. Undefined, reflects the incredible melting pot of interests and influences that Amiram draws from. Combining elements from Arabic, folk, alternative rock, and even classical and latin music, always with an unexpected twist and a unique style and sound, the album is a playful journey journey across landscapes of musical adventures with Lyrics that will make you stop and thing Norwegian-born Amiram Eini started playing guitar while still in art school in Norway, Amiram studied fine arts for five years, and it was there that he met fellow artist musicians who taught him his first chords and introduced him to playing music for the first time. ' it was such a mixture of punk rock and alternative music that I couldn't help myself from being swept up in it. I spent hours in the cafeteria in school practicing my guitar while the last layer of paint was drying. It was a great time alternating between the visual and the audible' After finishing art school Amiram started traveling the world and many times found himself busking, and jamming with various artist. ' I never thought of myself as a singer, but I was writing all these songs, with the thought of someone else singing them, in the end I just wanted to play music' Amiram played solo for a few years in various clubs in France, Norway, the US and Israel, before founding the band AmiramInc. In early 2005, the band released it's debut album, titled Little Defects, in the beginning of 2007. The album was produced by one of Israel's leading producers, Gil Smetana, in collaboration with A-Ha producer Leif Johanssen. It was recorded in Israel, Norway and England and received great response from both media and the audience. The debut single Allright was huge hit on Israel's no.1 national radio and the Israeli Music Channel. The band played numerous gigs across the country and abroad, touring England with great responses and began to gather a steady following. Amiram Inc. ^#^embarked on an impressive project, filming the amazing video for the single Can't Pretend, in what was then (and probably still is at the time) Israel's greatest music video production. The video starred famous Israeli dancer/choreographer Anna Aronov, Amiram and the band members at the time. In December 2009 Amiram recruited the band and a number of local celebrities to aid African Refugees in Israel, recording and filming a video for the song 'I Guess I Must Be Wrong' to lead a fundraising campaign for Israeli volunteer organizations helping the refugees. A project which Amiram produced and directed himself. This was to be the last project as a band and Amiram embarked on a solo career. As a solo artist Amiram continues to create and perform. He is also combining his visual arts with his concert performances, Playing and exhibiting in various places across the globe. Amiram's music can be described as alternative folk rock, with a distinct sound and strong melodies. His strong vocal presence, rich lyrics and energetic stage performance make an unforgettable live act.
