On location of a garden in Los Angeles, California, MelRose tells us more about what makes her, her. “I like all my experiences in life to be fun, not only for myself but for those around me,” she shares. “I’m always trying to keep others laughing or on their toes with my wit.” MelRose’s passion is her work and businesses. “I must admit, I’m not someone who maintains societal ideas around work-life balance,” she says with a laugh. “I’m happy working 12 to 14-hour days, so I do what makes me happy. I often incorporate my hobbies into my work!” For MelRose, running her businesses and creating on her terms is empowering. “What I love about my job is that I’m in control,” she says. “Empowerment means many things— it means when I create content, it’s because I choose to.
