Description
Welcome to this course in surgical technology designed for medical students interested in orthopedic surgery. This course will provide students with an in depth understanding of what they need to know to excel as surgical technologists with a specification in the field of orthopedics. The course describes medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, surgical technology procedures, laws abiding for medical professionals as surgeons, and much more. The reason I have chosen to select orthopedics as a field of research in regards to surgical technology is my personal experience as a medical scribe in orthopedics with physicians who practice arthritic treatment. I wanted to create this course to encourage medical students to consider the field of surgical technology to grow as leaders in the field of surgical sciences. This course will enable students to progress in understanding their role as a surgical technologist. I created this course as an addendum to my course in Medical Scribing. Thank you for purchasing this course and I encourage you to review the course Medical Scribe created by me Lauren Bapst as well. I hope you find this course to be helpful to you in progressing in medical terminology, medical sciences, surgical technology, and orthopedics. Thank you!
This course is designed for the Pre-Medical student, surgical technologist, or biology student interested in the field of health sciences.
