Managing for the Future consists of 14 instructional modules that focus on organizational behavior and processes and on how organizations deal with change. At MIT, the organizational behavior course continues to be modeled around the new organization–flat, flexible, networked, diverse, and global. Taking up three theoretical lenses–strategic design, political, and cultural–Ancona et al. show students how these lenses can be used to "read" and "diagnose" organizations and direct managerial action.
