Description
This course teaches the fundamentals of what it takes to professionally whiten a client's teeth. The student will learn who is a candidate for teeth whitening and who is not. The student will learn about healthy teeth and unhealthy teeth. The student will learn the difference in shades of teeth. The student will learn how to properly determine the shade a client's teeth falls under on the Classic teeth shade guide. The student will learn the anatomy of a tooth and what makes up its composition. The student will learn how to do a client consultation and what to look for when examining a client's teeth. The student will learn the different types of teeth whitening products. They will learn types of Peroxide Teeth Whitening gel. The student will also learn about types of Teeth Whitening lamps and the best ones to use. They will learn about safety control and Infection control. The student will learn the potential risks and side effects that can happen after a teeth whitening treatment. This class will discuss mild to aggressive gum recession and what effects they have on sensitivity after a teeth whitening treatment. Managing Sensitive teeth and ways to treat sensitive teeth will also be discussed in this course. This course will also discuss the Client Consent form, results disclaimer, insurance for your business and why it is extremely important to obtain a client consent form.
