After years of research, the defining features and significant modifications of each Ausfuehrung of the Pz.Bef.Wg. have been correctly identified. A surviving Ausf.E allowed the Panzer Tracts team to correctly draw the unique details on the turret roof. By precisely measuring surviving Pz.Kpfw.III components shared by the Pz.Bef.Wg, and original drawings of the Ausf.D1 chassis and Ausf.K turret, they have created five sets of new five-view 1/35 scale drawings.
