Description
This course on mine design using Micromine 2023 is a comprehensive program that covers the design of both open pit mines and waste dump facilities in great detail. The course provides a thorough overview of the Micromine software, including its key features and capabilities for mine design. Participants will learn how to create and edit 3D designs of open pit mines using variable constraints, including ramps, switchbacks, and flat sections of the road. They will also learn how to create a 3D surface of the pit and intersect it with topography, and calculate volumes. In addition, they will learn how to design waste dump facilities, starting with an automated design using the waste dump modeler and adding details later using Micromine's design tools.
