Description
Welcome to Building Foundations: My First Piano Lesson! This course is designed to help you get your footing and to decide which route of piano learning you like best. Whether that's learning to read sheet music completely, learning how to play chords for radio songs/singing along with, or a mixture of the two! Piano is for everyone, and here is the easiest place to get started on your journey. Course Breakdown: Together we will start with learning the seven letters of our musical alphabet and how to apply those to the piano keys. We will learn our sharps and flats. We will also take a look at our ver critical basics of posture. We will cover everything you need to build your foundation of piano learning right! We will take a look at a classic song that everyone of all ages knows, "Twinkle Twinkle" and learn our three main ways of playing it. We will learn to read our Treble Clef staff, and play through the song's melody. Then we will learn the chords to play and sing "Twinkle Twinkle". Lastly we will put both together and play through chords on the left hand and melody on the right hand. We will even get a starter introduction to playing with a metronome!
