Description
This course is the eighth part of the lecture series on ANSYS Workbench software. It takes you through various modules of ANSYS Workbench like Static Structural, Modal, and Steady-State Thermal Analysis. Various numerical are solved to explain various concepts and features of the software and for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software. Various assignments are given for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software. We start with Static Structural Analysis. Various numericals are solved for Commercial Water Pipe, 90 Degree Pipe Bend, 45 degree pipe bend, branch pipe, y-shaped pipe, t-shaped pipe, pressure reducing valve, and swing check valve.Second section deals with Thermal Analysis module which deals with problems on heat conduction through Commercial Water Pipe, 90 Degree Pipe Bend, 45 degree pipe bend, branch pipe, y-shaped pipe, t-shaped pipe and pressure reducing valve.Third section is all about the Modal Analysis. Commercial Water Pipe, 90 Degree Pipe Bend, 45 degree pipe bend, branch pipe, y-shaped pipe, t-shaped pipe, pressure reducing valve based numerical are solved to explain the procedure for solving such type of problem.Lastly we study about the how to draw basic geometry using Deign Modeler, how to use extrude, sweep, revolve and loft features, how to add engineering data and most importantly how to mesh in ANSYS Workbench. 90 Degree Pipe Bend, 45 degree pipe bend, branch pipe, y-shaped pipe and t-shaped pipe are modeled using Design Modeler.Basic version of this course is available in the previous part of this series ANSYS Workbench Tutorials. Advanced version of the courses are also available namely, Advanced Structural Analysis, ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-II, ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-III, ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-IV, ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-V and ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-VI and ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-VII. Join those course to learn the basic concepts of these modules and more.
