    Herstedvester er et lukket fængsel 15 km syd for København. Hvert år sendes en eller flere grønlændere til afsoning på ubestemt tid. De har begået alvorlig kriminalitet, men de straffes dobbelt hårdt, fordi de er fjernet fra deres familie og kultur. Nogle har aldrig tidligere været i Danmark og taler ikke dansk.
