Description
To write well in the 21st century, you need to master narrative basics. This is done overtime, but you can accelerate your learning with new approaches and vital information about storytelling. This pack contains multiple micro-courses on creative writing, covering many topics, such as:Generating Ideas For NovelsPacingGothic FictionFinding Your Voice As A WriterFairytales & FantasyWriting DystopiaPerfect for writers at all levels! However, much of the content is geared towards beginners working towards their first publication. This course works as a perfect compliment to writing groups, craft books, AuthorTube and the many amazing writing blogs out there. Most importantly, I encourage students to take an active role in their imagination and storytelling. There's an emphasis on originality and writing stories only you can write! The tech requirements are straight-forward: you'll need a place to jot down ideas and if you choose to do a class project, a visual site such as Canva. Your teacher is Madeleine Rose Jones: a book blogger, novelist, historian and creative writing teacher to over 500 students. Here is the feedback Madeleine has gotten from students over the years:"I've put off becoming a freelance writer for years, but your course has really motivated me as a beginner to start using my creativity! Thank you!" ~ Caleb Billings, on "Write A Fantasy Novel""She gives very helpful advice. I think the class is worth revisiting from time to time." ~ James & Marsha Beam, on "Discover Your Voice As A Writer""This is a wonderful and informative post! As a lover of Gothic literature and as someone trying to master the craft of writing Gothic fiction, this was not just helpful but also helped me understand which aspects of the Gothic attract me." ~ The Unreliable Narrator, on "Key Features of Gothic Literature"
