    Den danske forfatter Marianne Hesselholt (f. 1943) er uddannet cand.mag. i fransk og dansk fra Aarhus Universitet og arbejdede efterfølgende som gymnasielærer. Marianne Hesselholt har udgivet en lang række novellesamlinger samt historiske og biografiske romaner. I sine noveller har hun blandt andet beskæftiget sig med sygdommen demens.
