This pictorial album illustrates many of the vessels involved in the trade, from the small Comet to the mighty Columba. As well as the more famous services on the Clyde and in the Western Isles, the steamers on Loch Lomond, and on the Tay and Forth, are also featured. Most photographs previously unpublished.
