Perfect Day è una commedia capace di raccontare la guerra con le armi dell'ironia e del divertimento. I protagonisti di questa movimentata avventura sono quattro operatori umanitari impegnati nei Balcani nel 1995, a guerra appena finita. La loro missione è rimuovere un cadavere da un pozzo, per evitare che contamini l'acqua della zona circostante. La squadra, guidata dal carismatico Mambrù, comprende Sophie, ingenua idealista appena arrivata dalla Francia, la bella e disinibita Katya e l'incontenibile B, volontario di lungo corso e allergico alle regole. Dopo una rocambolesca serie di eventi, i quattro capiranno che si tratta di un compito più difficile del previsto, in un paese in cui anche trovare una corda può diventare un'impresa impossibile.
